Trevor Williams

Currently, I am a studio host for Washington Husky football and men's basketball on the Washington Sports Network from Learfield IMG College. I moved to North Carolina in 2017 and spent my first year in the state as a seven-sport play-by-play broadcaster and Assistant Director (Video/Broadcasting) of Athletic Communications at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

I am a 2017 graduate of Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. and earned my B.A., Summa Cum Laude, at The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication.

I grew up a sports fan. Well, actually I might have to edit that to fanatic… When I was a young kid I could be spotted in my neighborhood cul-de-sac inventing imaginary Major League Baseball games. I pretended to be the coaches, players, fans, announcers and everything in-between.

From that early age, my neighbors, and an elementary school speech therapist (who had to keep me from straining my voice making imaginary crowd noises) knew that my heart was in sports.

Since starting my broadcast career as a high school junior, I have seen and experienced things that I never would've imagined possible. I've traveled on the road with a wood-bat college summer league baseball team for four years, called NCAA Division I postseason soccer, broadcasted volleyball, soccer, baseball, and basketball for my university, and ventured for fantastic job opportunities in the beautiful state of North Carolina.... all while meeting and sharing the time with incredible groups of teams, athletes, fans, and other announcers along the way!

I take pride in being able to tell the stories of these teams, universities, fan bases, athletes, and communities, and sometimes revel at how far I've come from being a lone kid in a cul-de-sac with a wiffle ball bat.
